Puppy & Kitten
Wellness Care

Bringing home a puppy or kitten is an exciting time! At Timberline Animal Hospital, we are honored that you would entrust the medical care of your newest family member with us.  We are dedicated to providing your pet with lifelong quality medical care. As a small and personalized practice, we pride ourselves on developing trusting relationships with you and your pet so that you can make the most informed medical decisions that are right for you, your pet, and your family. You can choose to either pay for your pet care services as they occur or purchase one of our annual Preventive Healthcare Packages. Our Preventive Health Care Packages offer monthly payments for your pet’s preventive care needs. Packages are divided into 12 monthly payments. Visit our Health Care Package page for more information.

What you need to know about your new pet’s first appointment

Please bring any paperwork for your new pet and any vaccination or de-worming records with you.
Please bring in a fresh stool sample that is less than six hours old to test for internal parasites. We strongly recommend that all new pets to your home and especially puppies and kittens are tested for internal parasites. Internal parasites are unhealthy for your pet and transmissible to their human family members. For more information on parasite control visit the CDC or the or Companion Animal Parasite Council.
The first examination is usually a little longer because we know that you have a lot of questions and we want to make sure to answer them all.
