"Hands down the best vet in town! Dr. Rowe is kind, compassionate and as fair as they come. His staff is great also. We're always treated with respect by Dr. Rowe and I've never felt like he didn't have what was absolutely best for my pet in mind. They have great prices and a beautiful facility. Highly recommend."

Dr. Tim Rowe Veterinarian/Owner

I am tremendously excited and proud to open Timberline Animal Hospital. After providing veterinary care with a local Fort Collins Hospital since 2007, the time has come for me to bring my vision of veterinary excellence to life. My professional passions are dentistry, internal medicine, surgery, and developing trusting relationships with pets and their
people. My promise to you is to deliver compassionate care with outstanding service to both you and your pet and never lose sight of my core values as a veterinarian.
I earned my Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 2005 and was the recipient of The Pfizer Veterinary Specialty Team Award for Excellence and Clinical Proficiency in Internal Medicine. After graduation I moved to Northern California and practiced in a very busy hospital for two years. My family and I missed Fort Collins and we returned in 2007.
I grew up in Albuquerque and many of my family members still call New Mexico home. My wife, Heather, and I have three children and enjoy skiing, camping, hiking, playing games, and watching movies together. I am also a dedicated runner and am out on the trails early most mornings. Accumulating pets is an occupational hazard of being a veterinarian and our pet family consists of many dogs and cats (but I won’t say how many because the number can change at anytime) and a guinea pig.
Please stop by and let me give you a personal tour of Timberline Animal Hospital. I look forward to seeing you!

Renee - Veterinary Nurse - Certified Veterinary Technician

I am originally from the Volunteer State, Tennessee, but moved to the great state of Colorado back in 2018. I graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Health Technology. I obtained my Technician License in 2014. I grew up with horses, cattle, and dogs, but other the years, I have developed a passion with working with all animals both large and small.
Outside of being a CVT, I enjoy spending time with my husband, two dogs, and horses on our property. I also enjoy spending time outdoors exploring all the outdoor opportunities Colorado has to offer.

Nicky - Veterinary Nurse - Certified Veterinary Technician

I am a Fort Collins native who has always had a passion for animals. After high school I decided to attend Front Range Community College with the hopes of one day working with animals. I graduated in May 2013 with an Associates of Applied Science with a focus in Veterinary Technology. In November of that same year I passed the VTNE, Veterinary Technician National Exam, which gave me the opportunity to become a Certified Veterinary Technician in the state of Colorado.
Outside of the hospital, I love to spend time being outside, only when it’s warm, and enjoying the company of family, especially my beautiful 4 year old daughter, Mia. I have four pets of my own including three dogs Mischief, Pepper and Duke and a cat named Mizuno. I hope to grow as a technician, fine tune my technical skills, and be able to provide quality care to pets and their owners.

Julia - Veterinary Nurse

I was born and raised in The Golden State and moved to colorful Colorado in 2015 for college. I studied Animal Science at CSU and graduated with my bachelor’s in May of 2019. My goal is to attend vet school and become a mixed-practice veterinarian. I always had dogs and cats growing up and knew I wanted to work with companion animals, but discovered during my undergraduate career that I also have a passion for working with livestock, specifically dairy cattle.
I have a senior kitty of my own, Paisley, who is hilarious, talkative, and arguably more like a dog than a cat. Outside of the hospital, I enjoy skiing, hiking, cooking, discovering new music, and spending quality time with friends.

Carson - Veterinary Nurse

I am currently a junior equine science major at CSU with a minor in business. Prior to CSU I attended a pre-conservatory art school where she majored in classical vocal performance. In my spare time I enjoy competing in upper level dressage on my horse, Indy. I also enjoy spending time with my two dogs, Bubba and Blue.
Janelle - Client Service Representative

I was born and raised in Iowa, but recently moved to Colorado to be closer to the mountains. I studied neurological disorders and speech therapy at the University of Northern Iowa (go Cats!), but found a passion in working with animals through volunteering at my local animal shelter. I have one dog of my own, Luka the Chocolate Chunk, with whom I have an arguably unhealthy obsession. In my free time, enjoy camping, hiking, going to the movies, film photography, and geeking out over musical theatre.

Silas - Retired Hospital Greeter

Silas came to our hospital as a foster cat from the Fort Collins Cat Rescue after the floods in September 2013. He was thin and it was clear that he was in pain when he ate. Silas would sit crouched in the corner and our staff was concerned that there was something wrong with his teeth. After a dental assessment, it was clear that Silas needed a dental cleaning and dental x-rays were needed to assess his teeth. The x-rays showed that he had two teeth where the crown was separated from the root below the gum line. Three weeks after his dental and extractions, he was a new cat!
He started eating, gaining weight, and he started sleeping in his cat bed at the front desk. After three months as a foster cat, we all had become very attached to Silas. We decided to make it official and finalized his adoption with Fort Collins Cat
Rescue in late December. He is now an official resident of our hospital and a great greeter. Silas is the perfect hospital cat. He is oblivious to dogs, likes other cats and kittens, and REALLY likes our guinea pig patients. You will usually find Silas sleeping in his bed at the reception desk or he’s in the back basking in the sun next to the toasty autoclave. We look forward to years of Silas as
the official hospital greeter.
